“Immerse in the gold rush era with a stay at The Wild Turkey Inn, a gorgeously renovated heritage home.”

Ski Canada Magazine

“... new on the scene is The Wild Turkey Inn, a renovated heritage home built by a banking baron during Rossland’s 19th century gold boom days. The exquisite three-bedroom house is rented out in its entirety to groups.”

What Guests Are Saying

The Wild Turkey Inn is exceptional. Walking into the house, up the majestic stairs is an exciting experience. From the outside, you can see that this is a special place. But once you step inside you realise just how amazing this place is. With loads of modern upgrades, a gorgeous communal kitchen, luxurious rooms and warm interior. It feels like time travelling but with all the modern comforts. There are great touches all around the house. Collectors items are proudly displayed. Nothing feels old or musty. But it feels like a different era. Look, I want to just go off and write all poetically about this amazing house. But nothing I say will prepare you for the experience you will have staying here. So, stay here. Treat yourself. Make unforgettable memories.

“The Wild Turkey Inn is an absolute gem with the hosts to match. The space itself is stunning. Mike and Shauna have preserved this gorgeous piece of history and made updates that provide modern conveniences while doing justice to the original style. There are so many thoughtful details at the Wild Turkey Inn from from locally curated products to games galore to history books and so much more. They really thought of everything. The location is outstanding, just a couple of blocks to town and under 10 minutes to Red Mountain. I can’t recommend this place enough. The more time you spend looking around the more you’ll appreciate the contents of this home and the high quality of work and care that’s been put into it.”

This place is awesome! Full of history from the early days of Rossland. Shauna and Mike have a real gem in their hands with this Inn. Renovations are going on right now (Oct 11/19) but wow is this house ever cool. I have never been in a house as big as this before. The ceilings are so high it looks like 15 feet tall. They have also done a terrific job of decorating this massive house by getting piece’s that are from the same time period of when the home was built. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what they transform this already unbelievable space into.

Beautiful Victorian house. The details are amazing and the rooms are very big and comfortable! There are two friendly little snuggle dogs to give you smiles, and the hosts are super attentive and helpful. Great coffee! And Chef Mike grills up a mean steak.
